UMPC Bedford Hospital's surgical volume includes 600 cataracts per year. The facility opposite the hospital is fully equipped to conduct eyelid surgeries in an office setting. Up-to-date SLT and YAG lasers are available for use in the office. An active Optical shop, Zeiss OCT, Humphrey Visual field, Olleyes, Zeiss Clarus Fundus camera, and ERG are a few of the modalities available to provide excellent eye care.
The office staff are kind and well-trained. The employee turnover rate is exceptionally low, with employees averaging over 20 years of service.
